The Denver Broncos announced that $30 million in improvements are to be made to Sports Authority Field at Mile High in time for the 2013 season. Part of the improvement includes pressure washing some of the old equipment to match the new.

The contractor handling the installation called us a few weeks ago to do this special project. This week, the winter weather finally warmed enough to do the job and we sent a 4-man crew with a water recovery trailer to keep the wash water from running down the storm drain.

Much of the improvement project is focused on new video screens. Part of the upgrade was cleaning the old speakers so they could be reinstalled in different locations.

The 150 speakers were stacked on pallets and brought out of the stadium to be cleaned in the back parking lot. Much of this job was done by hand as the speakers needed to be scrubbed and wiped dry.

We’ve done hundreds of unique jobs like this over the years, so we know what to expect. We never shy away from doing the work by hand, or whatever else our clients need to get the job done.

After being cleaned and dried, the speakers were restacked on the pallets to be carried back inside the stadium and reinstalled. The improvement project should be done in plenty of time for the Denver Broncos August 24 pre-season game with the St. Louis Rams.

If you have a special pressure washing project, call a company that’s done hundreds of them.
