Downtown Longmont pressure washed by Wash On Wheels
We recently won a contract with the City of Longmont, CO for pressure washing services.
Out of five companies, they chose us because we specified a 3-man crew to do both pressure washing and waste water recovery.
The other companies were unclear as to how they were going to accomplish water recovery with one or two man crews. It didn’t appear they had done enough of this kind of work to know what it really takes to get the job done right. Unless you’re washing a tiny area, you need a crew to handle pressure washing with water recovery.
The City of Longmont has high standards for recovering water generated by pressure washing. Our experience and reputation for staying ahead of the curve on the regulations for recovery made the difference in getting the contract. The cheapest price isn’t always the best choice – and sometimes costs more in the long run.
State, county and city governments – along with companies who are aware of the regulations and penalties for not doing the job right – are requiring recovery for pressure washing projects. Over the past year we’ve noticed more water recovery clauses in requests for proposals.
It’s more important than ever for pressure washing companies to stay on top of the regulations and best management practices for water recovery.
