But some jobs – like this one – need hot water to get the job done. This drilling rig had a leak and they needed to get all the grease and oil off so they could make sure they had the leak fixed.
And if you’ve ever tried to clean greasy dishes in cold water, you know it doesn’t work very well. Grease and oil usually have to be heated to loosen their bond to the underlying surface so they can be removed.
And sometimes you need the extra pressure that professional pressure washing machines have. While some of the small cold water machines produce 3000psi when they’re new, unless they’re maintained properly, they will gradually lose pressure over time until they’re not putting out enough pressure to get the job done.
