Following a 57 year tradition started by Gart Sports, Sports Authority will hold one of the biggest ski, snowboard and winter sports apparel sales in the nation.
Every year, Sniagrab, which is “bargains” spelled backwards, draws thousands of excited winter sports fans to take advantage of big savings on new ski and snowboard equipment. Although Sniagrab is held in the late summer month of September, the customers of Sports Authority are already dreaming of champagne powder, adrenaline inducing downhill runs and heart pounding half-pipe shreds.

A week before the big sales event even begins, customers camp out on the sidewalks at Sports Authority’s Sports Castle on 10th and Broadway in Denver. This year some folks had tents pitched on the sidewalk 10 days before the opening day of Sniagrab.
